Is freedom having the Government tell employees where to live?
Tom Collins thinks his ideas should be your ideas!
"People work hard to earn a living, and if people want to live somewhere, they should be able to." stated by Clark County Commissioner Susan Brager
Collins said he proposed the measure because he wants county workers to feel loyalty to the community they serve. But -- betraying his questionable Democratic instincts -- he also argued that the county is losing tax revenue by allowing workers to live where they choose. Is this really freedom when the government tells your county employees where to live and is desiring more and more loyalty from them. When might Collins turn his attention to residents of Clark County and tell them where to live and demand more loyalty from the residents also?
With all of the pressing problems in Clark County, why would Collins spend any of Clark County's resources on this issue? Could it be that he has never been interested in effective use of the funds Clark County already has to work with.?
