Why not Election Reform where there has been so much corruption?
Cable TV Channell 4 is televised by fees paid by our Cox Cable bill. This channel shows Clark County Government shows 24 hours a day. Why should we not use this channel to show all candidates running for office in Clark County? We could have debates. We could have 30 second commercials. This could be a channel for real conversation between the people of Clark County and their government. Our election guide could have a free space for each candidate to communicate with the voters. It could show their phone number, email address, address, website and any other information to get the voter more informed and convinced there is a real reason to vote. Clark County could have a free small office for each candidate. We could have a central place for all information regarding each candidate. Clark County could have a BLOG regarding each candidate and an easily created website for each candidate to express their views. We could charge each candidate 25% fee for every dollar raised over $30,000 and share this money with the other candidates that do not raise $30,000. We could have a central information website to share ideas on how to campaign for office. We could create systems of elections that would actually get independent candidates elected. Once we really start down the path of Election Reform we could make many real changes with your help.
