Nevadans for the American Dream donated to about 30 Nevada Democrat Candidates!
Did you ever wonder why our Nevada and local Governments seem to Group Think? They seem to vote together, speak with similar ideals and rarely publicly disagree. Of course they do like to disagree at election time because they want to get elected and want to act as though they will really solve some large unsolvable problem.
How could Collins help protect incumbents with these contributions? Money does buy free speech. The more money the more free speech. The more free speech the better chance that a candidate gets elected. A candidate increases his chances also with endorsements for Unions, Political Groups and Associations. These endorsements usually also come with money and votes. Elect ability is one of the main factors in deciding to endorse a candidate. If an incumbent like Collins tells the Unions, Political Groups and Associations, the candidate will vote like Collins does. They will normally agree and endorse the new candidate. How much power does that give politically active incumbents like Collins? The newly elected officials know that they owe Collins favors for getting them elected. It would seem only natural. When Collins needs them, he will ask for help. It will be for money, connections or campaign help. It could be in the form of changing or not changing laws or ordinances for the benefit of Collins upcoming election.
If you are a candidate and are not receiving help from Collins' Incumbent Protection Racket, the chances of getting elected are slim. Nevada State Democrat chairman Jill Derby told me the party help incumbents. Peggy Maze-Johnson or the Clark County Democrat Party told me the same. The power behind the elected officials do not want real change for our benefit. Politically active incumbent Collins represents their interests and not ours.

I wonder how many of these candidates are Mormons. Could it be more than the mormon population of less than 10%?
