I want to get you informed on how Collins helps keep the power of the special interest groups and corporations in charge and ignores our interests as individual Nevada residents. I met with Collins at the Nevada Legislature when he was the Assemblyman representing district #1. He told me that if a lobbyist and an individual both testify on a bill with conflicting testimony, it is easy for him to decide how to vote. Collins votes the way the lobbyist wants because the lobbyist represents more people than the individual. Is this the Nevada that you want? I appreciate that Richard Fitzpatrick is curious that I am an active Democrat in his blog. Independent Democrat would be a good label to put on me. I am Independent of the special interest groups that seem to control Collins. My three attempts at Nevada Assembly #1 have been mainly self funded except for the help of a few friends. I have never met Richard Fitzpatrick. I have learned from his website www.richardfitzpatrick.com that he is married to Clark County Treasurer Laura Fitzpatrick. He was in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1978-1986 and in 2004 he ran for Senate 5 but lost against Joe Heck. I appreciate his curiosity in my website. Thank You.
