What make Collins move to Logandale with such Deep Roots in N. Las Vegas?
What reason would you have to move from the home you lived in for 30 years and the city you lived in for over 50 years? You would not move for the fun of it. You would have family, many friends, business relationships and a vast comfortable knowledge of the city you lived in for 50 years. Could it be that you do not like the city you lived in for over 50 years anymore? What would this say about Collins ability to build a better future for our community when he moves away from our community?
What problem does Collins have with Casinos and Strip Clubs? Did he movie to Logandale because there are too many Casinos and Strip Clubs in Las Vegas? Collins enjoys spending the Billions of dollars of tax dollars created by these businesses. He enjoys the Billions of dollars spent on Union construction jobs created by these businesses. Our own local government promotes the phrase "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". A large portion of Collins' county paycheck comes from these taxes, so he partially works for Casinos and Strip Clubs. Many of his campaign contributions comes from Casinos.
Is Collins trying to take away our individual freedom to decide where we want to work, live and play? "Stick to the Master Plan. Stop granting exemptions for bad planning and bad ideas" stated in a Collins Mailer "Plans for the Future". How does Collins know what is bad for him is bad for you? A large percentage of elected officials in Clark County are members of the same religion as Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and Tom Collins. Is Collins working hard to make you live the lifestyle of his religious beliefs? Isn't there supposed to be a separation of Church and State for a reason? I think that freedom was the original reason fo the seperation between church and state. All of us need to stand up for freedom, before elected officials like Collins take all of our freedom away from us!!!
